fishing was solid today with many hook ups and about 10 fish landed. Here is Matt Light and Paulie with a nice steelie. The Salmon River is producing more and more with some fish already dropping back and spawned out. Still a lot of slots open in May for drop back steelhead !

Fished the tribs today with New England Patriots Matt Light and friends and they fished well again. White eggs are still the ticket. We managed 12 fish and lost many more. That fish looks tiny in Matt's hands! The Salmon River is finally fishable at 1800cfs and fishing well.

April 8

Good day of fishing early on but slowed down for us in the afternoon going three for nine on the day with two steelhead and one brown. The Salmon River has dropped to 1800 cfs which makes it much easier to deal with.

April 6

Another great day on the tribs. White egg sacks seem to be the only color the fish want. Landed 13 fish and lost many more. The Salmon River is about 4000cfs with all the runoff but the tribs are slowly dropping and clearing up.

April 4

Really high water everywhere. The river is basically unfishable so the tribs are the only option but really producing some nice fish. We fished a snowstorm today but managed to land 10 steelhead. All the fish were caught on white egg sacks.
