I was invited to fish the coastal rivers of Oregon this past January with my good friend Eliot Jenkins of Greasy Beaks Fly Fishing. I was going in with the mindset that it may be very tough fishing for steelhead but have always wanted to check out the PNW so anything caught would be a bonus. I fished four days on four different rivers and was blown away by the beauty of the rivers and the fishing turned out to exceed my expectations.
