Last day of guideing the Salmon River till October when I return from Alaska. I fished with Joe from PA today in the Long Bridge Pool and did very well. The bite was really good early in the morning until about 9am and then it died right off but it was hot and heavy for those first few hours of daylight. We landed over ten fish today and lost lots more! Great last day on the Salmon River. I have three weeks till I head off to the Royal Coachman Lodge in Alaska but until then I will be fishing trout throughout the upstate New York region. Here are some pics from yesterday.
