Early October on the Salmon River

The Salmon Run has been really strong this fall up until two days ago when it finally slowed a little. However, late yesterday and today there were big pushes of kings and steelhead moving through. The steelhead bite hasn't been great, not sure why but we have site fished a good number of them and just can't seem to get them to eat. I'm sure that trend will change with crowds diminishing.
