August 30

The fishing in Alaska has been epic this past week for rainbows, char, and dollies. The silver fishing is also great but we haven't had silver fishermen in the past couple weeks to really take advantage of them. This the last month of the season and plenty of great fishing left. Here are some pics of rainbows and the natural beauty of the area we are blessed with!

August 22

Been really busy the last couple of weeks after loosing one of our guides early, but the fishing has really been outstanding for rainbows, char, dollies, and silvers. The spawn has been in full swing just about everywhere which is causing all the egg eaters to gorge. Drifting beads or egg patterns behind spawning salmon has been the key. Here are some of the pics from last weeks guests.

August 8

With the sockeye and king salmon spawn in full swing on most of the rivers and streams the fishing has been considerably picked up for rainbows, char, and dollys. Here are some pics from the past week of fishing.

August 4

The weather has been terrible here for about two and a half weeks with rain and wind and high water. Fortunately the fishing has still been great in spite of the elements. The King season has ended but the silver salmon run has begun and we are averaging about 30 silvers a day. The sockeye are also beginning their spawn which has triggered the rainbow and char bite which will only increase in the comming weeks!
