March 23 Steelhead 1/2 day trip

Had a great half day of fishing today landing lots of hungry, aggressive steelhead. We were able to watch many of them travel a few feet to chase down the egg patterns!

Thursday Epic Steelhead Trip

Fished with Norris and Eric Staplefield of Hairball Charters and absolutely had an epic day of steelhead fishing. I'm not even going to get into numbers because it would not sound believable but all I can say is WOW!! Here are some of the highlights...

Monday-Wednesday Steelies

Fished for half a day on Monday and had high dirty water but did manage a couple fish, one that took us about a hour to land! Best fight of the year for sure! Wednesday we did very well with clearer water and hungry fish all day!

March 15th

Fished with Dave and John for half a day yesterday and did great landing ten Steelhead and Rainbows! It rained all night last night and into this morning so there is lots of runoff on many of the tribs and the Salmon River is running at 1200cfs but is more like 1800 with all the runoff. Should be great fishing again when everything drops.
