Mid July at the Royal Coachman Lodge

Mid to late June at the Royal Coachman Lodge AK
The season is three weeks old and the fisheries are changing weekly. Salmon are flooding the rivers and the Chum are already starting to spawn in some of the fisheries. Everything here is at least a week or two early this year due to the lack of snow fall this winter and unseasonable warm spring temps. The water is super low, probably equivalent to our mid August level which is making running jet boats a challenge is some of our smaller tribs. The fishing has still been great regardless for all species. Here are a few highlights from the first couple weeks.
