Early to Mid August at the Coachman
We've finally got our much needed rain which brought a lot of our river levels back up but muddied up a few which have been tough to fish since. The silver fishing has been a little tougher on the Nushagak system this year, not quite the numbers we are used to seeing which probably coincides with the fact that the commercial fishermen did really well on silvers out in the bay off the mouth of the Nush. The Coast has been fishing better every day for big silvers though and should only continue to improve. The rainbow fishing has been just about all I have been doing for the last two weeks and we are getting some beauties! Here are some highlights from the last couple weeks....
