Mid November Steelhead and Brown Trout trips

The fishing was really tough most of last week but is finally starting to pick up again. We are getting some precipitation but we are also getting plenty of abnormally cold temps which are making things challenging. We caught our first Atlantic of the season on Sunday caught by a first time fly fisherman! Here are some of the highlights from recent trips...

Again, the same story hit and miss and all reliant upon the flows. When we get rain all is well for a few days until everything dries up again, in which case all the pressure is back on the Salmon River.
