Winter and Spring trips on the Salmon River, tribs, and Belize

It was a brutal winter in upstate New York so I didn't do many mid winter trips.  I did go to Belize for 16 days this winter which certainly helped get me through.  We did well in Belize considering some tough weather conditions, we had a cold front move through for three days, besides that it was mostly wind related.   The steelhead season this spring was good, we had lots of fish but lots of water as well.  We definitely had to get creative with the given conditions but between the fall and spring we caught some of the largest steelhead on average I've seen in many years.  I finished the spring season with another May Belize trip, we again had plenty of wind which made permit fishing tricky but we had plenty of bonefish and tarpon to keep us occupied.  Here a few of the highlights of the steelhead season as well as many of the highlights from both trips to Belize....

I'll be heading to Alaska a week from today.  Want to thank everyone for joining us this season, you are all very much appreciated!!
