Steelhead and trout from mid December

The steelhead fishing on the Salmon River has been pretty slow all December. I rescheduled some trips for later dates due to this and took some time to do a little hunting with Jake. I had my friend Tyler visit, who is a co-worker from the Royal Coachman Lodge, and we did some exploring out west. We found plenty of fish, had a blast and got to visit with lots of family along our route. My girlfriend Karen even joined us for a couple of fish. Late November Steelhead

Ive been on the Salmon River lately and it has been hit and miss but when we do hit them they have been some quality chrome bright, hard fighting fish. The last two days have really been a grind, with very few bites throughout the day. Here are some of our highlights from the past week....
