Mid to Late August Alaska

This is always prime time in Alaska for great trout, char, and silver salmon fishing and it has been phenomenal of late! We are catching awesome rainbows up to 30 inches!, tons of beautiful char and dollies, and catching tons of big silvers! Here are a bunch of pix from my trips over the past few weeks which are almost all of big rainbows except for a couple of colored up dollies.....

Early August Royal Coachman Lodge

The Rainbow fishing has been amazing in the past few weeks in Alaska!! The sockeye eggs are dropping and the egg gorge is on! A lot of our other fisheries are taking off as well, we are catching some huge Char and Dollies, and fresh hot silvers on our coastal rivers. Its a great time of year to be in Alaska!!
