Mid April Steelhead Trips

The fishing remains the same, some days we get them good others we are working hard for each fish. Angling pressure is a large part of our success or struggles each day.  This weekend was tough simply because we couldn't fish many of the spots we wanted because of excessive pressure.  It's not surprising as beautiful as the weather was, it was nice to fish in a t shirt the past couple days!  Here are some pix from this past week.

Early April Steelhead trips

The fishing has been hit and miss lately, one day we do really well and the next not so much.   The temps haven't exactly been stable either which isn't helping with a consistant bite.  We could use some of the weather that we had last month right about now, it feels like early March lately instead of early April. On the bright side these cold temps will at least hold the steelhead in the river longer before they head back to Lake O.  Here are some recent pix from the past week....

Late March Early April Trips

The fishing has been hit and miss lately.  It has been a tougher bite the last few days with some colder temps and more fishing pressure.  Hopefully the cold will be a good thing and keep the steelhead from exiting the river so soon!  Here are some pix from the last few trips...
