November 21-23 Salmon River Steelhead and Browns

I had a great three days with John and Scott from Maryland on the Salmon River. We had lots of action all three days and landed some awesome tout! We also got some much needed rain Tuesday night finally!

November 20th Salmon River

We fished the Middle Salmon River today to try and avoid the crowds on the upper river. We had a really good day with lots of hookups all day on mostly steelhead. We did manage to land one brown and had a few more hooked up.

November 18th Salmon River Steelhead

Fished the Upper Salmon River in the morning and experienced a blinding snowstorm but when the snow cleared the angling pressure increased. We decided to head down river to avoid the crowds and did well getting many hookups. Although we didn't get many of them to the net we hooked some great fish!

November 16th Salmon River Steelhead and Browns

Fished with Earl, Dave, and Keith from Houston Texas again today and had a tough morning but it really picked up in the afternoon and we pulled off a good day in the end.

November 15th Salmon River Steelhead and Trout

On the Salmon again today and managed to pull off a GREAT day of steelhead fishing in spite of considerable pressure. Still waiting on some rainfall to open up other fisheries and raise the Salmon River a little more.
