March 13-14 Salmon River Steelhead

Fished the past two days with Patrick and did well both days, definitely had to work for them though. The river is up a bit at 1200cfs with all the snow melt in Tug Hill but it has helped the bite. I fished Monday with Brent and Justin from NC but don't have the photos yet, since my camera died. Luckily they had cameras so I will post the pix in a couple days when they send me them. Here are a few pix from the past two days...

Great two days of fishing Friday and Saturday! Lots of fish, many of which we didn't get pix of, but also tons of hookups! Friday was beautiful and Paulie ended up in a t-shirt but Saturday was another story, 50 mph gust made it challenging to get good drifts! Definitely an early spring and the fishing has been on fire lately!

Feb 28th Steelhead

Fished for half the day today in beautiful sunny conditions and had some great fishing! Definitely going to be an early spring, already seeing fish spawning!

Feb 23rd steelhead

Did well today landing seven in a half day trip and had some more good hookups. My camera died so we didn't get all the pix but here are a couple!
