I've been out trout fishing the past few days for Brook Trout and Brown Trout in the tug hill plateau region around Redfield, NY. We caught some really nice Brookies over the last few days and I wish I had taken more pictures because the colors on some of the fish were amazingly beautiful! Most of the fish we caught were on dry flies but we did catch some on streamers and nymphs. We did catch a few really nice browns yesterday too which really made it a great day and an even better week! The native Brook Trout pictured here actually had a four inch creek chub already in its mouth when I caught it.
