The past week and a half have been great for trophy Alaska rainbow trout fishing. We have been landing lots of fish between 24-29 inches and with girths of about 14 on average up to almost 17 inches! This is a great time to catch a fish of a lifetime. We have also been catching lots of BIG sea lice Silvers near the coast, many on surface poppers which is absolutely an amazing experience! Ther is nothing like a giant Silver Salmon fresh out of the ocean wakeing towards your fly on the surface and explodeing on it! It has been a great week and we expect it to only get better this week.
